Sunsets

With all of that hot weather we had, it made some beautiful sunsets.
Here is one I tried the panoramic feature on my camera.

Here is another one, but it's not quite a sunset I guess. It was pretty amazing though, you could almost look right at the sun. (And don't think just because it didn't hurt to look at the sun, that I did look at it. I know that it was still dangerous to look directly at the sun.) This is taken through the screen door and it give the sun the burning cross.

This is without the screen door.

And here is the same sunset zoomed out.

And finally, here is Louisa, or at least what Louisa will look like when she gets hair. The hair is actually Kayleen's. Uncle Pat wants us to look into buying a wig for Louisa, to build up her self esteem. I'm not sure if I should put this to a vote on my blog or not, since this "wig" gives Louisa an Andy Warhol look.

E's Visit

A couple of friends of ours came down yesterday for a quick visit. Pat and I took them out to a bar that serves a drink they call a Mexican Flag. It has Grenadine, Creme De Menthe, Tequila, and 451. In short, it is a very very VERY strong Altoid.

Also, one of the things that I will miss about Pullman are it's beautiful sunsets. I peeked outside and this is what I saw tonight.

Perfect Sunset

This week My wife and I went down to Oregon to see my grandma. After we had visited her we were headed to our car and this is what we saw.

The church in the center of the picture was the church my parents and my grandparents got married at.

Last week I went to Boise to interview for a job. Unfortunately I didn't get it, Kayleen was pretty relieved about that, but on my way down to Boise I took some pictures of the sun rise. My flight left at 6:00, so I was able to see the sun just start to rise. It was pretty amazing.

It was cool how the clouds became a sea.
